The new WFT-E2/E2A/E3/E3A/E4/E4A Wireless Transmitter allows you to connect to wireless and wired LANs, and supports FTP, PTP, and HTTP. Thanks to a connection wizard with broad compatibility, network access is sharply improved. The new WFT-E2/E2A/E3/E3A/E4/E4A is a premier work tool with expanded capability to link up with external storage media and GPS devices and others.

WFT-E3/E3A: EOS 50D, EOS 40D
* The Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E3/E3A firmware update is required before using the device with the EOS 50D.

Feature Highlights

· Three communications protocols FTP/PTP/HTTP are supported.
· Connection wizard for setting communications mode preferences, which may be done via camera menu. Wireless access point detection function provided.
· IEEE802.11g and IEEE802.11b wireless LAN support, with top link speeds of 54Mbps and 11Mbps, respectively.
· Image file transfer via Ethernet 100Base-TX wired network.
· The built-in antenna is sealed against dust and water like the EOS DIGITAL SLRs.
· USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port.
· WPA-PSK authentication and TKIP encryption for secure data transfer.
· WFT-E4/E4A and WFT-E3/E3A* support Wi-Fi Protected Setup™.
