Viewing images
Zoom mode
The Zoom mode in ZoomBrowser EX enables you to view the images saved in a specified folder as thumbnail images. Normally, you have to open a folder to view the images in that folder, but Zoom mode displays all the images in the folder, including images in sub-folders inside the folder. You can then view any image enlarged just by clicking the mouse on it, making it easy to track down and directly access the image you want to look at. The ZoomBrowser EX display modes are extremely powerful tools for searching through images stored in multiple folders.

Scroll mode
Scroll mode shows you the folder configuration on your PC and lets you specify a folder that contains saved images and view the images in that folder. Most people are familiar with this display mode, but the unique functions in ZoomBrowser EX allow you to open multiple folders at the same time. This mode is the easiest to use when you have large numbers of photos in each folder.
* Use the Preferences to specify whether multiple folders are opened at the same time.

Displaying images in the Viewer window

Comparing images
When you've taken lots of shots and you want to choose which is the best, use the ZoomBrowser EX Split Screen function. This function shows up to 4 images at the same time in separate panes for easy comparison. And by using the Synchronize function to match the magnification and display locations across the images, you have the perfect function for looking at multiple shots of the same scene and picking out the best shot based on the focus, exposure, composition or even the facial expressions.

Viewing images as slide shows
The ZoomBrowser EX Slide Show function doesn't simply show full-screen version of your images one by one, it also lets you assign star ratings or select images for printing during the show. This means that you can check out your images in full-screen mode at your leisure while at the same time making your plans for the next procedure.
