Canon in-lense image stabilizers — for easy photography without blur caused by camera shake

An introduction to camera shake

Things to remember about camera shake

“Camera shake” is movement of the camera while capturing an image on imaging device or film. A certain amount of camera movement is inevitable during handheld shooting, and the resulting blur is greater at longer focal lengths and lower shutter speeds.

Camera shake causes more blur at longer focal lengths.   Camera shake causes more blur at slower shutter speeds, which are otherwise advantageous in dark environments.
