When shooting, move around and try different positions
Eyesores can spoil the picture
You compose the shot; not the camera
With digital SLRs, the image in the viewfinder is an exact representation of the image that will be captured. Digital SLRs also allow you to determine the extent to which the picture is in focus.
The camerafs automatic functions do a reasonable job of exposing and focusing the picture. But the composition is totally up to the photographer. Composition is both a maddening and an enjoyable aspect of photography.
