Input the Serial Number of your camera in the box on the bottom
of the Download Page, and then click the "submit" button.
If your camera needs updating, a screen for downloading the Firmware
Update will appear. |

You can check the version of your camera's firmware
in the [Set]-[Camera Settings] option displayed in the ZoomBrowser
EX Camera Window that appears after you connect the camera to the
computer with the supplied USB cable. Macintosh users can check
their camera's firmware in the [Setup Options]-[Camera Settings]
option displayed in the ImageBrowser Camera Window.

via USB, the following events will occur.
- Inability to transmit data to the CF card inserted in the
camera from the computer
- Inability to edit the data stored in the CF card inserted
in the camera with DPOF settings
